Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun , the chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriations has congratulated His Royal Majesty Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, MFR, the Asade Agunloye IV, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Rule of Yewaland on his yet again appointment as the Chairman of Ogun State Council of Obas by the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON.
The senator in a congratulatory message commended the governor for doing the right things always among traditional rulers stressing that by the inauguration of Paramount Ruler as the Chairman of the Council of Obas in the state, the governor is further giving all and sundry a sense of belonging in the state’s scheme of things.
Senator Adeola who described Oba Olugbenle as a highly educated and modernizing monarch stated that he is confident that the newly inaugurated chairman of the royal institutions in Ogun State will bring his wealth of experience and knowledge to drive the developmental roles of traditional institutions in the state adding that traditional rulers have a serious role to play in the area of security, safety and good order in the society , all of which are pre-requisites in the development and well-being of the society.
“I am not in doubt that your tenure will bring great development for the traditional institutions in the state as well as general development of the society through wise royal counsel. I congratulate you and all our royal fathers for your positives roles in the society” he stated.
