IDL Sponsors Ita Oba Day Fiesta 2023

Development of any community could not be left in the hands of government alone hence, the need for members to contribute their quotas effectively towards making every communities a safe heaven for all.

Olota of Ota, Oba,  Prof.Abdul kabir Obalanlege  called on residents of the town to contribute their best towards the socio-economic growth and development of the town.

 

The monarch made this statement during Oju-Ita Oba celebration at his palace in Ota adding that all efforts are in top gear to make Ota a mega city.

He added that Ota and its environs have been relatively peaceful in this recent time saying the residents are conscious of the benefits in the peaceful co-existence which is the hallmark of socio- economic boost.

Prof. Abdul kabir charged members of traditional council in Ota axis not to relent in their cooperatinn and adequate support which they have been giving to him  which according to him would fastract infrastructural and socio-economic development of the town and his environs.

Olota commended the Intercontinental Distelleries Limited (IDL), Ota for being responsive  and responsible at all times especially on the massive job creation for the residents, donation of befitting generator to the palace,  empowerment of the residents in various ways,  construction of a block of three classrooms in Ilogbo Asowo among others above all sponsoring this year,  2023,  Ita- Oba celebration.

Speaking, the General Manager, 'IDL', Ota, Chief Adegoke Adesina represented by the Insight and Category  manager, IDL,  Ota, Mr 'Tofunmi Opaleye thanked Olota for showing appreciation and always in support of the company's development adding that Intercontinental Distelleries in Ota will not relent in its  Corporate Social Responsibilty(CSR) in Ota and its environs.

The immediate past Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Wasiu Lawal said, leaders of the community developement associations  would continue to be enlightened on the need to educate and sensitize members of the Community Development Association (CDA) in the area on the needs to always mobilize members of their community to partner government especially in the area of infrastructural development that would aids socio-economic growth of the area.
